Ice Cube is right; today (at least in the east coast at the time of this post) is gonna be a good day. The Ghostbusters table is finally, FINALLY coming out on Steam after over a year's wait, Super Mario Odyssey is coming out (and it's been getting mostly 10s across the board so far!), and the Lakers will beat the Supersonics.... oh wait, that last part's not right. >>;

But seriously, I'm really hoping Gamefly will send me a copy of SMO pronto, because Nintendo has been on a roll this year; while other companies feel the need to make games short/tepid, or concentrate on multiplayer and/or rely on microtransactions *coughcoughGranTurismoSportcoughcough*, Nintendo has been doing nothing but great things since the release of the Switch, and I hope they don't stop and rest on their laurels. We still want Virtual Console support, and maybe theme support, but the fact you can play most games with a Gamecube controller has me hyped... hopefully, it won't be for nothing.

Bottom line, they aren't following the "Turn $60 fans into $200 fans" philosophy that everyone else is doing, and I applaud Nintendo for still making games that feel well worth the price of admission. (btw, I'm not joking about the "turn $60 fans into $200 fans" thing; it's a huge part of why Ubisoft is dead to me! https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/2dqn3y/ubisoft_wants_you_to_pay_200/ )

So, how do you guys like the new werewolf design for Lydia? Pretty snazzy, amirite? ;P

I mostly like the new design, though I'm not really sold on the patterning of her fur coloring. The lighter colors look like it could be her skin or just really lightly colored fur. I like the simpler linework (especially on her face). With only the one full body picture of her in the new style though it's hard to give a definitive "yes, this looks really good" or a "no, the old look was better" or more detailed answer.

Her right hand looks a bit large for her arm, though her hands were larger as werewolf in some of the previous pictures, so I guess it may just be a style choice.

Also, her eyes seem to be a smidge off. Her left eye looks like it's looking off to the side a little bit (kind of like she's embarrassed or something) but her right eye is more centered. I may just be imagining things from looking at various details too much after a long day though. XD

TL;DR: For the most part I like the new design, but I don't really care for the patterning of her her fur and the lighter fur is skin-toned, so it's hard to tell if it's skin or fur.

She's technically naked and her open legs risk exposing her...cave of wonders. Of course people will stare. :p

All that's missing is the part where she realizes her nudity, screams "Kyaa, you perverts!" before punch-kicking them out through the windows manga-style... :p

I was thinking more along the lines of it being a lot like wearing one of those tight skinsuits Olympic speed skaters wear... only with a lot more fluff to them.

Didn't she say that transforming doesn't hurt that much anymore, or is this one of those times where trying to delay it make it hurt a lot more than usual?

Just because she said it doesn't hurt that much anymore doesn't mean it doesn't hurt anymore, period. But yeah, trying to suppress the changes is probably a lot like if you have a stomach flu and you're trying your best not to puke; it's gonna happen eventually, and you're gonna suffer until it's out of your system. ;)

I think it's more like shingles. It hurts like hell at first, but after a while to get used to it. It still hurts, but your ability to tolerate it increases over time. I would imagine that your body restructuring itself wouldn't feel pleasant.
