PSA: A reminder that the 5th Anniversary AMA starts TONIGHT at midnight! June 15th-17h!

You know that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark (I think...) where Indiana Jones got challenged to a swordfight, but instead of accepting it, he drew out a gun and shot the guy with the sword?
That's what was going through my head when I wrote this scene.

Karolyne had as much fun drawing this page as I did writing it; I'm gonna go out on a limb and say not all of Lydia's fight scenes are gonna end like this. XP

Yeah, just look at Temple of Doom. Indiana Jones tried doing the same trick with the sword men, but he forgot his gun and had to do the next best thing, run! Hopfully the fight doesn't happen to be on a old bridge with crocodiles underneath. But loving this fight scene, keep it up

Doesn't matter how strong you are, some things will always hurt.
Wonder if/how she is going to explain things to that couple after the vampires are taken care of.

Rather brings to mind the differences between werewolves and vampires in White Wolf. Vampires are assassins, doing best with a surgical strike. Werewolves are juggernauts, doing best in a knock-down drag-out fight. A lone vampire stands little chance against a werewolf unless they're REALLY old.

The funniest part about that Indiana Jones scene was that it was improvised. Harrison Ford was supposed to fight the guy, but he wasn't feeling well during the filming of the scene, so he just pulled out the gun and shot him and everyone went along with it.

I love hearing trivia like that. It makes the context all the more memorable. XP

I think her muscles are usually hidden by her floofyness. Also they only really come out, when they are strained.
So, unless she doesnt go all "hurgh" you dont see much more than her being tall and meaty.
